Alexander Brown is a Managing Director at Attain Partners. He serves as Enterprise Advisory Capability Lead, overseeing a dynamic business unit that integrates the firm’s tech-agnostic strategy, ERP transformation, and app modernization services. In this role, Alexander leads a multidisciplinary team delivering strategic management consulting, enterprise transformation, application modernization, and custom technology solutions to higher education, nonprofit, state and local government, and commercial clients.
With over a decade of experience spanning product innovation, enterprise software development, and organizational strategy, Alexander brings a unique blend of technical acumen and advisory expertise. He has led the development and delivery of more than a dozen enterprise applications and delivered a wide array of assessments, helping clients optimize governance structures, modernize legacy systems, and align technology investments with mission outcomes. Clients have collaborated with Alexander to both envision the future and untangle critical, complex organization and technical challenges.
Alexander is also the leader of the Innovation team including the Attain Apps product line, which transforms core intellectual property into intuitive SaaS solutions that empower mission driven organizations. His leadership has driven the creation of products like Attain Research Performance and Attain Rate to support research organizations, as well as a number of POCs and pilots to explore practical uses of machine learning and large language models.
Prior to joining Attain Partners, Alexander held roles at IBM, where he specialized in experience design and emerging technologies for federal clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from George Washington University and is a certified IBM Design Thinking Coach.
Alexander is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations thrive through bold innovation, data-driven strategy, and human-centered technology. His work continues to shape the future of enterprise advisory and digital transformation across sectors.
