The Higher Education Summit, sponsored by Salesforce.org, is Dreamforce on a smaller scale with an impact just as large for our community. This year, the Summit will be held in Austin, TX from April 27-April 29. Salesforce.org and a diverse community of educators, leaders and technologists will make the trip to Austin well worth your time and investment. These few days together give us the space to connect with our colleagues from universities and institutions who are just as passionate about their missions to educate as we are.
Prior to joining ACF Solutions, I served as Senior Project Manager at the University of San Francisco. My time there was memorable and I was able to connect with dedicated staff, focused faculty, amazing students and a worthy mission of social justice through education. Technology leveraged to advance social good in higher education, or in any way, makes my work meaningful! This was my professional epiphany and education. Today, I am still inspired when sharing these sentiments, which leads me to why you should attend the Higher Ed Summit in Austin in April.
At the Summit, we come together — Salesforce, educators, partners — to support the mission of higher education through the use of innovative technology. There, as peers, we share our successes and best practices and learn from our challenges. We hear of advances in Salesforce and how to use it on our own campuses.
The USF mission tagline calls us to action; “Change the World from Here.” This year in Austin, let us start, continue or re-invigorate our commitment to changing the world through education & technology. There are students to register and teach, donors to thank, gifts to process, faculty to inspire, grants to manage, alumni to engage, and progress to report. As a community, we are the acceleration behind our mass for good, equaling the force to change the world from anywhere.
