Attain Partners Founder and CEO Greg Baroni will be the Beyond 2025 Conference keynote speaker sharing his perspective on growth in the federal market.
About Greg Baroni
Greg Baroni is the founder and CEO of Attain Enterprises which includes Attain Partners, Attain Capital, and Attain Sports. Attain Partners is a leading consulting firm dedicated to the education, nonprofit, and state government markets. On the private equity front, Attain Capital invests in firms delivering high-value, technology-enabled solutions and services to government and education clients. Attain Sports owns and manages the Orioles Double-A affiliate Bowie (MD) Baysox; the MLB Draft League Frederick (MD) Keys; the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) Spire City Ghost Hounds based in Frederick, Maryland; and the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Loudoun (VA) United FC (LUFC).
In 2021, Attain sold its Federal division to Maximus. Before founding Attain, Baroni held various leadership roles at Unisys Corporation, including corporate senior vice president of the company and president of its Federal Systems and Global Public Sector Unit after having spent nearly 20 years at KPMG Consulting, departing the company as its senior vice president of Public Services, serving nonprofit, education, healthcare, and government clients.
Known for his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, Baroni has been honored with numerous industry leadership awards and recognitions, including the coveted E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, Fed 100, Fast Company’s Fast 50, Consulting Magazine’s Top 25, Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Tech 100, and the Greater Washington Government Contracting Awards’ Executive of the Year, among others.
In November 2022, Baroni received the Lifetime Achievement Award at WashingtonExec’s annual Pinnacle Awards, celebrating the career of an industry icon whose contributions to the GovCon community will live on for decades. That same month, it was announced that Baroni and his wife, Camille, made a gift to George Mason University’s School of Business for a first-of-its-kind university center to address business, technology, policy, and regulatory issues in government contracting. The non-partisan entrepreneurial center has been named the Greg and Camille Baroni Center for Government Contracting.
An active leader in the community, among other roles, Baroni serves as a member of the Board and the former Board Chair for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). He also sits on the Board of the Professional Services Council (PSC), and actively serves the missions of several charitable organizations, including The Women’s Center and the National Kidney Foundation.
