In a world where advertising and sales are everywhere, it’s easy to confuse fundraising with traditional sales. But while both involve attracting interest and securing financial support, the motivations and methods behind each are vastly different. This session explores why fundraising is not—and should never be—treated like sales. We’ll dive into the core distinction: sales is transactional, driven by an exchange of money for goods or services, whereas fundraising is relational, driven by a deep connection to purpose and impact. Donors aren’t seeking a financial return, but rather an opportunity to contribute to something greater than themselves. It’s about joining a cause, not just making a purchase.

By the end of this session, you’ll understand how to approach fundraising with a heart-led mindset, focusing on building meaningful relationships with donors and aligning their passions with the mission of your organization. You’ll walk away with insights on how to make it easier for people to access their hearts and make investments that truly impact humanity.
