Attain Partners (AP): What brought you to Attain Partners?
Brandon Westmoreland (BW): Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about helping mission-driven organizations leverage technology, data, and strategy to increase their impact. Having worked at one of the largest nonprofits and closely with other nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and fundraising teams for many years, I was drawn to Attain Partners because of its reputation as a trusted advisor that combines deep industry expertise with a genuine commitment to client success.
What stood out most about Attain Partners was the company’s culture, people, and focus on serving organizations that are making a meaningful difference in their communities. The opportunity to help healthcare foundations and nonprofits navigate complex challenges while supporting their fundraising and operational goals was a natural fit for my experience and interests.
I was also excited to join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and long-term partnerships. Attain Partners’ mission, growth trajectory, and commitment to delivering measurable outcomes for clients made it an opportunity I couldn’t pass up and was extremely excited about.
AP: Which of our seven core values speak to you the most?
BW: I would say Be Bold. It is always easy to stay on course with what has worked in the past and what is working now to just continue with doing it that way. But the fun and challenging aspect is to figure out how something can be done better and more efficiently. With that, you have to Be Bold with why you feel it needs to change, why now, and be passionate that it can make a difference.
AP: What do you like most about working in the nonprofit and technology space?
BW: What I enjoy most is the opportunity to help mission-driven organizations amplify their impact. Nonprofits and healthcare organizations are focused on solving some of society’s most important challenges, and technology has become a critical tool in helping them operate more efficiently, engage supporters more effectively, and ultimately serve more people.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations that are making a real difference in their communities. It’s rewarding to know that the solutions we implement can help increase fundraising revenue, improve constituent experiences, streamline operations, and provide leaders with better data to make informed decisions.
I also enjoy the pace of innovation within the technology space. The ability to combine strategic thinking, relationship building, and emerging technologies to solve complex challenges creates an environment where you’re constantly learning and helping organizations achieve outcomes that directly support their mission.
AP: What are the biggest ways you’ve seen digital transformation initiatives impact nonprofit organizations?
BW: The most significant impact I’ve seen is the ability for organizations to better connect their mission to measurable outcomes. When nonprofits modernize their technology, data, and processes, they gain a much clearer understanding of their supporters, programs, and overall impact.
From a fundraising perspective, digital transformation enables organizations to create more personalized donor experiences, increase donor retention, and make giving easier across multiple channels. This often leads to stronger donor relationships and sustainable revenue growth.
Operationally, modern technology helps reduce manual processes, improve collaboration across departments, and provide leadership teams with real-time insights for decision-making. Instead of spending valuable time managing spreadsheets and disconnected systems, staff can focus more energy on mission-critical work.
Perhaps most importantly, digital transformation allows organizations to scale their impact. Whether it’s reaching more donors, serving more beneficiaries, or responding more quickly to changing community needs, the right technology strategy helps nonprofits operate with greater efficiency and effectiveness while staying focused on their mission.
AP: What do you enjoy outside of work?
BW: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved in youth sports, particularly baseball. As a passionate supporter of amateur athletics, I enjoy following player development, attending games and tournaments, and helping young athletes pursue opportunities to play at the next level. It is a cool to follow my two kids along their sports journeys and to see how passionate they are to compete at the highest levels.
I also have a strong interest in real estate investing, business development, and entrepreneurship. I enjoy exploring new business ideas, evaluating investment opportunities, and learning about innovative ways organizations can grow and create value.
When I’m not working or at the ballfield, you’ll often find me outdoors, traveling with family, or enjoying some downtime.
