Job Description
We are seeking a Delivery Lead – Advisory & Governance Services to drive and expand our data advisory offerings for fundraising and higher education clients. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping data governance strategies, developing standardized advisory frameworks, and leading foundational data visioning efforts across projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing strategic data solutions that integrate seamlessly with Salesforce, integrations, and analytics teams. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, governance best practices, and advisory consulting to ensure that clients have structured, scalable, and effective data solutions that align with their long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory & Governance Strategy Development
- Lead and expand data advisory service offerings tailored for fundraising and higher education organizations.
- Develop and implement best-in-class data governance frameworks that enhance data quality, security, and compliance.
- Provide foundational advisement at the start of projects, shaping the vision and roadmap for data solutions.
- Work directly with clients to assess, strategize, and optimize their data management and governance models.
- Build Governance team as we grow and sell solutions
Standardization & Delivery Excellence
- Create and maintain standardized deliverables, templates, and methodologies for data advisory and governance services.
- Define and document best practices for data governance, including policies for master data management (MDM), data stewardship, and compliance.
- Establish frameworks that allow for seamless hand-offs to Salesforce, integration, and analytics teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Solutioning
- Partner with Salesforce, integration, and analytics teams to ensure that governance solutions support broader business objectives.
- Provide leadership in data-related engagements, helping clients align their governance initiatives with technology solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through data governance implementation and operationalization.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Stay ahead of industry trends in data governance, data quality, and data strategy.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and executive presentations to drive data governance awareness.
- Contribute to the development of whitepapers, case studies, and best practice guides.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data advisory, governance, or data management consulting.
- Strong knowledge of higher education and fundraising data ecosystems.
- Expertise in data governance frameworks, MDM, data stewardship, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica), and analytics tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional data initiatives and aligning governance with technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, client management, and strategic advisory skills.
- Ability to define governance solutions that are actionable, scalable, and measurable.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field (Data Management, Business, or Technology preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in fundraising, higher education, or nonprofit sectors.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and Education Cloud.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, FERPA).
- Consulting experience with a strong ability to drive client engagement and decision-making.

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $155,000 - $200,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
