Robert Cohen is a Managing Director at Attain Partners leveraging 39 years of experience serving the higher education, nonprofit, and academic medical center communities. He has been with Attain since it was founded in 2009.
Bob specializes in assisting top research universities and academic medical centers achieve strategic and financial goals and manage risk and regulatory compliance. His areas of expertise include F&A proposal preparation and negotiation, research enterprise compliance, research administration assessments and implementation of recommendations, pre- and post- award supervisory activities, institutional strategic planning, and budgeting and clinical trial administration.
Before Attain, Bob held roles at Bearing Point, was as well as served as the top financial officer of NYU School and Medicine. Prior to the NYU School of Medicine, Bob was the leader for both the pre- and post- award functions at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Bob is a frequent presenter at industry forums including NCURA and SRAI. He is a CPA and received an MBA.
