For the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, we acted as their Salesforce Administrator, restoring trust and confidence in the system’s data and supporting ongoing systems maintenance and updates. We were able to bridge the gap in our clients’ workforces, such as Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock), which enlisted Attain Partners to maintain its Salesforce system when the nonprofit found itself without an in-house administrator.

Maximizing Data Insights for Johns Hopkins University

The Executive Education program at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School successfully implemented Salesforce, primarily assisting their marketing team with maintaining constituent relationships and lead generation. Growing more comfortable with its system, Carey Business School desired to expand its system capabilities and identify what new features and functionalities were needed. The team engaged Attain Partners, leveraging the support of our Managed Services offering, Managed Services for CRM, to provide guidance on best practices, receive expert Salesforce support, and supplement the work done by its in-house team.

Our experts met with the Carey Business School team regularly and developed a thorough understanding of their current and future goals. Leveraging our deep Salesforce expertise, we presented the opportunities available and ultimately identified how the client could optimize their marketing efforts.

We recommended a more robust way of using their engagement data to better inform decisions about the marketing content sent to constituents. This meant moving away from predefined paths, like sending automated emails based on a specific data point, and instead shifting their focus to using prospects’ interaction with the content as the metric to inform decisions about future communications. The solution to best address this need was to upgrade the Business School’s system to include Pardot Lightning. This upgraded feature boasts superior engagement data, which allows for better database decision-making, as well as a more holistic reporting framework via dynamic dashboards, which unlock actionable insights to inform their future marketing strategies. We also incorporated the mobile component (previously housed outside of Pardot) into their system and helped the client reach out to their partner network to set up mechanisms and tracking capabilities to gain more control of the data being collected from these external vendors.

I was [the client’s] trusted advisor who understood their goals and met with them regularly in order to surface new potential updates that we could work into their existing org. We exposed Carey Business School to Pardot Lightning, which has a whole host of features—enabling us to introduce them to what was possible, and how it could be leveraged and incorporated into their workflow. We call this process ‘The Art of the Possible.’

To better support the client in adopting this new set of features, the Attain Partners team began conducting training during our weekly meetings to reduce the impending learning curve. Including a training component in this way had the added benefit of encouraging more complex conversations about the future use of the software. Now able to gain more insight from their data and reports, informing marketing strategies, Carey Business School has optimized its investment in Salesforce.
