There’s big news in the Salesforce ecosystem!

Traction on Demand has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by partner and global leader in CRM, Salesforce. It will become part of Salesforce Professional Services, which along with Salesforce partners, helps customers accelerate their time to value with the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and build their path to long-term success in this all-digital world.

You may be asking, what does this mean for my organization? With decades of experience working as a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, here’s my perspective on the acquisition of another services firm by Salesforce and what it means for you.

Why is Salesforce acquiring Traction on Demand?

Technology acquisition is a common growth practice that can allow companies to inorganically leverage the innovation and culture of another organization to fill gaps in capacity and open new markets. With the surge of movement in the Salesforce ecosystem, we are seeing the need to build a strong pipeline of talent to deliver solutions to support product growth.
